Just A Little Bit About Me
“It is my honour to preserve connection through my lens.”
Photography isn’t just my passion—it’s my language. Growing up with ADHD and dyslexia, I often felt like an outsider, struggling to express myself in words. But when I picked up a camera, I discovered a way to communicate beyond language. Photography became my bridge to the world, allowing me to tell stories with authenticity and emotion.
Through my work, I aim to capture the beauty, connection, and resilience that bind us all. It is my honour to preserve these moments through imagery.
At 20, I set out on my first solo adventure across northern India—a journey that opened my eyes to the richness of life and the interconnectedness of all people. This experience ignited a lifelong curiosity and deep respect for the diversity of human experience, shaping both my art and my perspective. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve traveled across Asia and Western North America, documenting life’s most meaningful moments and sharing the universal stories that connect us all.
A defining moment in my career was working with Photographers Without Borders to document the incredible work of the Center for Disability in Development (CDD) in Bangladesh. This project reinforced my belief in the power of visual storytelling to inspire empathy and meaningful change.
Why I Do What I Do
For me, photography isn’t just about capturing beautiful images—it’s about preserving the connections, emotions, and fleeting moments that define our lives. I want to tell the stories that might otherwise go untold, the raw and unfiltered emotions that make us human—the laughter, the tears, the quiet moments of love and connection.
My approach is rooted in deep respect for authenticity. I aim to document your story in a way that feels true to who you are, capturing the full spectrum of emotions and experiences that make your journey unique. I also believe in the power of portraiture—not just to show how you look, but to reveal how you feel in a moment. The result? Images that carry meaning, emotion, and a timeless quality.
Ultimately, I create images that serve as a bridge to the past, connecting you to the moments that shape your life. These photos are more than just pictures—they are a legacy, a way to keep the story of individuals alive for future generations..
My Style
Taking photos should be fun—and working with me will be fun! 🎉 I’m a big goofball and love to laugh! I work hard to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience, giving direction and positive feedback to help you feel comfortable. At the end of the day, sincere emotion is the star—and we’re in this together. It will be an adventure!
My shooting style is primarily photojournalistic. I focus on capturing the real, unscripted moments that make your story unique. I’ll document the full spectrum of emotions, all the quirky things that happen, and the genuine connections between you and your loved ones.
I also set aside time for epic, breathtaking portraiture—the kind that makes you stop and stare. With simple guidance and an emphasis on natural connection, I’ll create stunning, timeless images that become artwork for your home.
In all these moments, we will create physical memories of this fleeting time in your life. These images will serve as emotional connections to your past—not only for you, but for your children and grandchildren to come.
